Practical support and gentle practices for navigating grief
We each experience loss in this life. The longer we live, the more connections we make, and, therefore, the more loss we experience. I know this journey personally—I lost both my mother and brother in car accidents when I was young. That grief shaped me in ways I could never have imagined, though over time I’ve also found moments of peace and connection again. My hope is to help you find those same gentle steps toward healing after loss in your own journey.
That’s why I created Gentle Pathways: Small Steps Toward Healing in Grief—a simple, supportive checklist designed to give you practical ways to move through each day. Think of it like a menu: you can choose one or two steps when you’re feeling low, or explore more when you’re ready. These gentle practices are here to remind you that healing after loss doesn’t have to happen all at once—it happens one small, intentional step at a time.
Grief changes us, but it doesn’t have to leave us feeling lost forever. With each step you take—no matter how small—you’re honoring both your loved one and your own life moving forward. My hope is that this checklist offers you comfort and direction when you need it most.
For additional guidance and practical advice, the HelpGuide.org article on coping with grief and loss offers beautiful insights into managing emotions, finding connection, and allowing healing to unfold naturally.
I created Gentle Pathways from my own experiences with loss and healing. You can learn more about my journey here. My hope is that what I’ve learned can bring a little more light to your own path forward.
If you’d like gentle support beyond this checklist, my Pathways Through Grief tarot reading offers space to reflect, receive guidance, and honor your healing journey. When you’re ready, I’d love to walk beside you.
